Project Summary

The project primarily involved the strip-out of seven existing gas fired boilers, which were replaced with five (x5) new Remeha 120 ACE gas boilers — comprising four (x4) 115kW units and one (x1) 65kW unit.

In addition to the boiler replacement, the scope included the following works:

• Replacement of all associated pipework, valves, and the low-loss header.

• Replacement of pump sets.

• Replacement of the pressurisation unit, expansion vessel, and chemical dosing pot.

• Modifications to the existing control systems to accommodate the new installation.

• Alterations to the existing gas supply to suit the new boiler configuration.

• Adaptations to the existing flue system as required for the new equipment.

• Strip-out and modification of existing electrical supplies.

• Installation of a new gas detection system.
