Project Summary

The project primarily involved the strip-out of the existing gas boilers, to be replaced with nine (x9) new Hamworthy Purewell Variheat PV140c condensing gas boilers.

In addition to the boiler replacement, the scope includes the following works:

  • Installation of pipework connections and temporary boilers prior to the strip-out of the existing equipment

  • Replacement of all associated pipework, valves etc.

  • Replacement of pump sets.

  • Replacement of the pressurisation unit, expansion vessel, and chemical dosing pot.

  • Modifications to the existing control systems to accommodate the new installation.

  • Alterations to the existing gas supply to suit the new boiler configuration.

  • Adaptations to the existing flue system as required for the new equipment.

  • Strip-out and modification of existing electrical supplies.
